To avoid getting discouraged or becoming weak as you work, it’s important to distinguish when you’re operating from your soul versus your spirit. Your soul has limitations whereas your spirit (recreated in Christ) is limitless, boundless and it’s inherent power is inexhaustible. If you find yourself getting weak or feeling inadequate, realize it’s a simple shift you need to make…. “B”
“Let the word [spoken by] Christ (the Messiah) have its home [in your hearts and minds] and dwell in you in [all its] richness, as you teach and admonish and train one another in all insight and intelligence and wisdom [in spiritual things, and as you sing] psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, making melody to God with [His] grace in your hearts.” (Colossians 3:16 reference)
That’s it, one word, one letter…. B! You’re not your soul, you are a perfect spirit so function life from that identity and submit your soul and body to that Truth. God has not given you the spirit of fear but of power, love and a sound/disciplined/self-controlled mind. Love will encourage, admonish and teach you perfect wisdom, so let his words permeate, saturate and penetrate your entire being (spirit, soul and body) richly. They’ll transform you from the inside out!
Don’t try to please anyone with your decisions, focus exclusively on pleasing the Lover of your soul…. he’ll empower you and simply tell you to B! Make your life, heart, mind and body a welcoming home for Love’s Words. He’s with you and is here to help you in partnership so let him.
