“If then you have been raised with Christ [to a new life, thus sharing His resurrection from the dead], aim at and seek the [rich, eternal treasures] that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. And set your minds and keep them set on what is above (the higher things), not on the things that are on the earth. For [as far as this world is concerned] you have died, and your [new, real] life is hidden with Christ in God.” (Colossians 3:1-3 reference)
Keeping your mind and heart set on Truth in every situation you face is a responsibility you can’t afford not to take! You have to keep your self FRESH concerning who you are in Christ. What’s so beautiful is that we not only have His spirit as our own, but we also have His mind. This makes us capable (if we’re willing) to hold his very own thoughts (feelings and purposes) of HIS heart. Remember, it’s not in your own strength that you live as Christ resurrected (possessing His spirit and soul/mind), it’s God who energizes you with POWER to do His will, good pleasures and desires through you.
Embrace your fresh CHRIST thoughts, attitudes, feelings and purposes within now that the old is left in the grave. Complete and permanent transformation inside out is yours…. B The BEST! I love you,
